I wrote this song after several years or writing songs that broke my heart, only to be turned away from every musical venue, just about, and after the hundreds of rejections I received on my submissions to songwriting competitions, venues, festivals, etc. I pour out my soul in every song I write, and I present them to the world, but the whole world turns away..my whole life is in these songs. Thus, the line "….my whole life has been written down in these unwanted songs"
